self-treatment
This tool allows self-treatment by the patient of some body areas, always advised by their doctor or physiotherapist.
We recommend visiting our FAQ section and reading what precautions should I take when using MTA?
It is recommended not to cause pain with the application of MTA.
Apply pressure or massage on an area generating a slight preliminary tension (always within the comfort zone) and gradually increase the pressure gently and gradually until you notice slight discomfort or an increase in resistance on the part of the fabric, but without exceeding pain threshold.
It is advisable not to press static for more than 90 seconds, or to massage more than 3 minutes in the same area (even a shorter time for some skin types) and stop if a slight skin irritation begins to appear.
It is recommended to use a small amount of oil or massage cream prior to use on the skin, although the sustained pressure release maneuvers can also be performed dry or over clothing.
If you have doubts about its use, ask your trusted physiotherapist for advice, he can give you specific instructions for use according to your specific case.
